Guesthouse complex „Laimes ligzda” („The Nest of Happiness”) is situated in a most picturesque countryside landscape just 80 km from Rīga, the capital of Latvia, and about 8 km off Cēsis, an ancient historic local town. Our guests are sincerely welcome here in any season.
In summertime, rafting and canoeing tours down the Gauja River, relaxed walks along the calm, remote coutryside roads and paths through the wild forests and meadows are all key elements that make „The Nest of Happiness”such a special place to visit. We also provide BBQ facilities for outdoor picnics.
In winter our guests have easy access to the nearby cross-country skiing tracks and downhill skiing slopes in the surroundings of Cēsis. They may choose also to go for a horseride, or enjoy a horse-drawn cart or sleigh tour in the stunning wildlife natural habitat.
The guesthouse complex offers a number of cozy rooms along 
with two festivity halls. We lay reception and festivity tables there. Unlimited refreshments including locally-made organic food can be enjoyed against the backdrop of stunning scenery. Fresh local produce is served at breakfast or dinner upon a prior booking.
At „The Nest of Happiness” you can take time out to relax and rejuvenate your body in a stress-free steam-bath or sauna with a pool. But someone might decide to have a refreshing swim in our pond.
On special occasions we offer evenings with Latvian national 
folklore events, or environmentally friendly evenings with a wide range of birch besom treatments and herb therapies offered by our certified bath-house attendant. To quench your thirst you will be served a locally brewed ale and beer!
Besides, the holiday complex includes a VIP cottage with four special double rooms equipped with self-catering facilities, and a diningroom comfortably furnished for a shorter or longer relaxing stay together with your family or friends.
